Problems with Login - two members sharing a single computer
Some are experiencing a problem as in the example below.
Wife Sally logins into the UCFM website. After she finishes her husband Herb wants to login - but each time he does all he gets is his wife Sallies UCFM page. How does Sally logout and Herb login?
Answer:
Close ALL Internet browser windows. This forces a complete flush and Herb
can now login under his own identity.
LOGIN - Updating personal Information
It is extremely important that members and ordained Ministers of the UCFM LOGIN to their private office on a regular basis. Why?
First, those not logging into their office over a certain period of time, usually over one year, will become listed as inactive members and may eventually be removed from the Ministry roster. This means if you were issued Ordained Minister Credentials - your credentials would be in jeopardy of being removed as well, and if you were to perform a marriage when your credentials are expired - then you are leaving yourself open to possible legal troubles. LOGIN TO YOUR PRIVATE OFFICE!
Additionally there is information, updates, and events announced at your personal office. If you do not login, you will never know what is going on at the UCFM! It could be possible that your credentials or membership were being censored over a complaint, and if we cannot contact you, I assure you that your credentials could be censored!
In addition to logging in, members are expected to keep their current
contact information up to date. Examples: if you move; change telephone numbers; or change email addresses.
Members need to, on their own, log into their private office where they can update their contact information. Again, it may be very important for the UCFM to contact you with newsletters, mailings of upcoming events, changes in licensure, renewal information, and/or your ordination status.
Not having current address information has, in the past, led to a number of
problems when a member orders credentials and those credentials were mailed
to the wrong address. WE CAN NOT STRESS HOW IMPORANT IT IS TO LOGIN
REGULARLY AND KEEP YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATED!
In the future, it may become necessary to suspend or cancel credentials of
members that we cannot contact! If you're going to be out of contact for some
reason, please contact a regional leader so we will know why we cannot
contact you.
